Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a powerful and wonderful healing tool which cannot be abused. This energy, also known as the Love Frequency Energy, will not work to do harm to any living being.

Silver Cord Reiki is something more. It is unique in its flexibility to “ground” not just to the Earth, but to any source of life, anywhere in the universe. Silver Cord Reiki respects and employs to the extent possible the methods of science. I am a scientist (a microbiologist) by trade. As a scientist, I love to guess at mechanism and verify by measurement. My current theory is that Reiki uses alpha-state quantum entanglement, mediated by the human mind, to modulate and direct extremely low levels of zero-point energy. However it works, I am certain that Silver Cord Reiki and its energy-healing cousins will find use in the eventual far-flung outposts of human life, wherever importing of the latest pharmaceuticals and instruments is not a possibility, but the maintenance of health is critical to mission success. Finally, Silver Cord Reiki is fully amenable to the practice and philosophy of exploration in general. It is inevitable that our understanding of energy methods will increase as this hand-in-hand alliance continues into the unknown.
